Key messages: Boomer women; Reinvention; Better with age; Stand for yourself
Baby Boomers are redefining the second half of life. We are living longer and stronger, making different choices and changes to those of previous generations.
Yet all too often we feel stuck, believing that the endless hamster wheel we’re on is our only option. We settle into familiar ruts and the busy life seems only to stop when an Oh @#%&! moment derails health, relationships, family or work.
It’s time to put yourself first for a change. There’s no point in waiting until things to go pear-shaped. At our age we’re caring less about what others think and becoming more like our real selves. So, given your time here is limited, what would you do if you were bold? What would you try if everything was an experiment? And whose permission are you waiting for?
